Allegro commission in 2026, category rates and maximum commission amounts

The Allegro sale commission in 2026 runs from 1% to 17% net, depending on the category, and Allegro adds 23% VAT on top of it. Allegro charges it on the price together with the delivery cost, and on free Smart! delivery on the price alone. Part of the categories also have a maximum commission amount, for example 4.5% but no more than 250 zł net, so on expensive stock the commission stops growing. On 2 March 2026 Allegro added it to more categories.

As of 28 October 2026, according to Allegro, the fees for sellers page with the per-category commission table in force since 2 March 2026, and the price list changes of 2 March 2026.

Listing an offer on Allegro is free, except for classified ads in categories such as cars and real estate. In a sale the only basic fee is the sale commission, which Allegro charges only once a buyer places an order. How much of your turnover is left after the commission and your other costs, the Allegro margin calculator shows.

How much is the Allegro commission in each department?

Allegro's price list gives a range for every department. The exact rate depends on the subcategory, so one department can charge you several different rates. All rates are net.

Department Net commission rates
Electronics from 2.5% to 8%
Beauty from 8% to 10%
Culture and entertainment from 5% to 8.5%
Automotive from 4.5% to 16%
Business and services from 4.5% to 10.5%
Supermarket from 5% to 10.5%
Health from 1% to 13%

Kids from 5% to 11.5%
Fashion up to 11.5%
Sport and travel from 8% to 11.5%
Accessories and others from 13% to 17%

Over-the-counter medicines and medical services in Health have the 1% rate. The highest, 17%, belongs to the subcategories called "Pozostałe" (Other), which Allegro has in almost every department, for example among bicycles next to mountain and city bikes. When you pick a category for an offer, check whether there is a specific subcategory for it, because "Pozostałe" costs the most.

What is the commission in popular categories?

What are maximum commission amounts?

A maximum commission amount is the amount above which the commission no longer grows. A more expensive product then pays a fixed amount instead of a percentage of the whole price. On 2 March 2026 Allegro added it to more categories and gave these examples.

  • Pressure washers in Home and garden pay 4.5%, but no more than 250 zł net, which is 307.50 zł gross.
  • Technological furniture and welding materials and gas equipment in Business and services pay 10.5%, but no more than 500 zł net, which is 615 zł gross.
  • Skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets, goggles, poles and skates in Sport and travel pay 8.5%, but no more than 140 zł net, which is 172.20 zł gross.

The maximum amounts run from 30 zł to 500 zł net. The most common is 140 zł, which almost every car part has.

To find the price where the maximum amount starts to apply, divide it by the rate. At 4.5% and a maximum amount of 250 zł that is 250 zł ÷ 4.5%, about 5,556 zł. Up to that price you pay the plain 4.5%, and above it always 250 zł net.

On the same day Allegro simplified the layout of part of its category tree and started moving offers to new categories. A move can change the commission, so after such a change check which category your offer is in now.

How does Allegro calculate the sale commission?

The commission is the category rate times the base. The base is the price the buyer pays, together with the delivery cost. When the buyer gets free Smart! delivery, they pay nothing for delivery, so Allegro's fees and commissions calculator then leaves the delivery cost out and calculates the commission on the price alone. When a buyer with free Smart! delivery pays cash on delivery, the base does include the 4.99 zł they pay for it. The rates in the price list are net, and Allegro adds 23% VAT to the commission amount. That is why 4.5% net is 5.54% gross.

In part of the categories the rate depends on the final price of the product. Allegro uses three such thresholds. In clothing, footwear and accessories, mostly in Fashion, the commission is 11.5% up to 110 zł and 7.5% on the excess above 110 zł. In part of the categories of other departments, collectibles and home furnishings for example, it is 13% up to 90 zł and 8% on the excess. In part of Electronics, phone cases for example, it is 15% up to 60 zł and 8% on the excess. The higher the price, the smaller the share of it the commission takes.

In car parts the rate depends on the condition of the product. An offer with the condition parameter set to "Nowy" (New) usually pays 9%, and any other offer 16%, in both cases no more than 140 zł net.

Allegro also runs temporary commission cuts. From 1 September 2026 to 31 March 2027, in 442 selected categories, 435 of them in Sport and travel, the 11.5% commission is at most 120 zł net, which is 147.60 zł gross, so it stops growing from a price of about 1,043 zł. The cut applies to business accounts. Allegro applies it on its own and you do not have to sign up for it.

On top of the sale commission come fees the category rate does not include, for example for featuring an offer, for Allegro Ads and for Allegro Smart!. The Smart! fees are covered in the guide Allegro Smart! fees for sellers in 2026.

A worked commission example

Three invented products show three ways the commission is calculated. The numbers are made up for the example, and the rates come from Allegro's price list.

The Polarix travel mug costs 90 zł in a category with an 11% commission. A buyer outside Smart! pays 10 zł for delivery, so the base is 100 zł.

  • The net commission is 100 zł × 11% = 11 zł.
  • With 23% VAT Allegro charges 11 zł × 1.23 = 13.53 zł.
  • The same mug bought with free Smart! delivery has a base of 90 zł, so the net commission is 90 zł × 11% = 9.90 zł.

The AquaJet 7 pressure washer costs 6,400 zł in the Pressure washers category, 4.5% but no more than 250 zł net.

  • The percentage alone would give 6,400 zł × 4.5% = 288 zł.
  • That is above the maximum amount, so Allegro charges 250 zł net, which is 307.50 zł gross. On this one sale the maximum amount saves 38 zł net.

The Lena dress costs 260 zł in the Dresses category and reaches the buyer with free Smart! delivery.

  • Up to 110 zł the commission is 11.5%, so 110 zł × 11.5% = 12.65 zł.
  • On the excess, 150 zł, the commission is 7.5%, so 11.25 zł.
  • Together 12.65 zł + 11.25 zł = 23.90 zł net, which is 9.19% of the dress price instead of 11.5%.

When does Allegro give the commission back?

When a sale does not go through, for example the buyer withdraws from the contract or does not pay, the commission can come back to you as a transaction rebate. Sometimes Allegro gives it back on its own, and sometimes you have to file a claim within 45 days of the purchase. Every case and deadline is in the guide How to get the Allegro commission back after a return.

Where can you check the commission of your offer?

You can check a category's rate in the table from Allegro's price list or in the fees and commissions calculator in Sales Center, which calculates the commission for one unit sold. The commission Allegro actually charged for an order is in Settlements with Allegro.

Salecare does not work out an order's margin from the rates. It takes the commission of every order from the Allegro settlements, so it subtracts from the margin exactly the amount Allegro charged, after any maximum amount and any discount too. Salecare estimates the commission before a sale only for the repricer's minimum price and the Margin at this price preview in a draft and in the live offer editor, and then takes the rate first of all from Allegro's fee calculator. How the commission, the Smart! fees, shipping and ads add up to a margin is in the guide How to calculate your Allegro margin, formula and example, and how Salecare works out the margin of every order is on the Real margin page.
